The AGM beamline is a low-energy version of the Dragon beamline, which uses spherical optical elements and a movable exit slit to maximize the photon throughput and energy resolving power. It consists of one horizontal focusing mirror (HFM), one vertical focusing mirror (VFM), one spherical grating monochromator with 3 gratings, and one toroidal refocusing mirror (RFM). This beamline is designed to cover a spectral range of 80 to 1200 eV. A photoemission end-station is available for surface science studies at this beamline. The beamline has been operational since 1993.
