Endstations

1. Interior hutch dimension: 3 × 3 m2

2. Detectors: gas ionization chambers, Lytle detector (fluorescent X-ray ion chamber detector), Si solid-state detector, electron yield detector (operated with helium flushing).

3. Sample stage and attached device: Samples are mounted on a motorized translation stage and can be cooled down to 15 K with a Displex closed-cycle cryostat or thermally treated up to 500oC in various gaseous environments in specially designed chamber followed by measurement at liquid N2 temperature.

4. Computers and controllers, software: PC/Linux for beamline control, data collection and processing using SPEC/C-PLOT software.

5. Others: Motorized XY slits, current amplifiers, V-to-F converters, CAMAC crate, NIM crate, counter, timer, pulse motor controller, high voltage power supply, rate meter, PHA/SCA, etc.
