1. Detectors:A spin polarization analyzer, adapted to a commercial 150-mm hemispherical energy analyzer, incorporates two efficiency-improved spin polarimeters based on the Mott scattering.
2. Sample stage and attached device:A UHV chamber is equipped with a sample-load-lock & transfer, LN2 and closed-cycle He cryostats, a differential-pumped Ion gun, electron-beam evaporators, a thin-film thickness monitor, LEED, a 5 KV electron gun. In addition, there is a growth chamber connected to the end-station. Epitaxial transition-metal oxide thin films can grown on single crystal substrates of metals or oxides by conventional molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) and laser MBE.
3. Computers and controllers, software:A PC software written in C has been developed to control the electron energy analyzers, the Mott spin detector and the beamline monochromater via IEEE interfaces, and to carry out data acquisition using counters in a CAMAC.
4. PEEM end station is already installed and Magnetic Scattering end-stations will be installed in near future.
